Est. 1987 · Middle River, MD
For nearly four decades, Jameson's Lounge has been Middle River's destination for handcrafted breads, flaky pastries, and thoughtfully sourced groceries — all made with the same care our founders brought to the first batch.
Our Story
Jameson's Lounge started as a small family bakery on Cornell Road — a place where neighbors came for a warm loaf and stayed for the conversation. What began as weekend baking has grown into a full-service market, but the philosophy hasn't changed: real ingredients, real technique, and nothing rushed.
Today, our bakers arrive before dawn every day. Our breads are mixed, shaped, and baked on-site using traditional methods — long-fermented doughs, hearth-fired crusts, and seasonally inspired pastries. The grocery section is curated with the same attention: local honey, small-batch preserves, and pantry staples we'd use ourselves.
What We Do Best
Sourdough, ciabatta, focaccia, rye, and seasonal specialties — all mixed and baked on-premises using natural leavens and stone-ground flours. No shortcuts, no preservatives.
Buttery croissants, fruit-filled tarts, danish, and holiday specials made in small batches. Our pastry chef rotates the menu with the seasons so there's always something new to discover.
A carefully selected market section featuring local honey, small-batch preserves, olive oils, pantry essentials, and snacks — all chosen for quality and taste.

What Our Neighbors Say
We've been coming to Jameson's for our Sunday morning bread for over ten years. The sourdough is unmatched in the area, and the staff remembers our names. It's more than a bakery — it's a neighborhood fixture.
The pastry selection is incredible — especially during the holidays. I order our Christmas cookies and fruitcakes from here every year, and they never disappoint. The quality is consistent and the flavors are always fresh.
I stopped in for groceries and ended up staying an hour — the market section has things I can't find anywhere else locally. Great olive oils, local honey, and the bread alone is worth the trip.
